Editing Desert Khudaks

Desert Khudaks hail from the southern deserts of Sadafeia. They live in highly spiritual societies, practicing a faith devoted to the creatures of the desert who are said to protect their way of life. Comparatively to other Khudak societies, they are more peaceful and inward. However, it is not true that they have completely erased the savage character expected of them. Desert Khudaks from the Vukhdril Clans have raided Sadafi villages and towns, and have settled deep into the civilized world. Vukhdril Khudaks are highly coveted among the militaries of Reveia, possessing enviable skill in arms not often seen on the Reveian Continent. Even among Houses who decry their presence, Vukhdril Khudaks have been recruited as guards or mercenaries for hire. Below are a list of several tribes that inhabit the desert, who are seen today in Arandous due to a history of enslavement but also employment for their martial skill.

Vukhdril Khudaks are savage warriors who lived in a regimented society, built around a warrior culture that outpaces the skill of its contemporaries. They respect power and those who best them in combat are rewarded with oaths of service. They are not known for complex philosophical systems, but instead derive their beliefs from their Sadafi brethren who rely on dreams and revelation. Many Vukhdril Khudaks follow the Faith of the Flame, but revere the great worms of the desert who live around their tribes.

Uzgrohl Khudaks differ from the Vukhdril in that they are more mercantile, living in caravans and devoting their skill in weapons to more peaceful pursuits. They are great smiths, lacking the sophistication of the Dwarven Holds, but nonetheless possessing a quality in smithing unmatched by humanity.
