We have different skin types and colours, concerns and goals, and some habits that are not – all of which the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with endless and skincare options out there, and finding the right plan can be a little bit of a .


If you have mild skin concerns or you’d like to feel more in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper of your skin, and which treatment and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation


Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any  skin  and what your skin goals are. We  that with a full skin and assessment, so we can create the right treatment and skincare plan for you.


During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or products from so we can fully examine your skin, the texture, thickness and colour which could indicate such as acne or pigmentation. Your skin will also be under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, congested or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress  your plan.


We’ll then your daily and monthly skincare and plan to get the best for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of  peels, microneedling or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. Depending on your goals or the of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or specialist nurse. And if you are interested in injectables as a to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.


To secure an appointment, we will a deposit. Your credit or debit card details will be against your booking. consultations are free of charge subject to a £25 deposit. In-person consultations are priced at £50. Please refer to our for more information.

Ideal for those with mild to moderate skin concerns including mild acne, congested skin, open pores, pigmentation, dull skin and mild signs of ageing, or for those who are simply just unsure where to start. Your skin will be fully examined for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised  plan will be recommended. If you have more pronounced skin that require a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse or doctor for .


To secure an appointment, we will require a . Your credit or debit card details will be secured against your booking. For Practitioner or Nurse consultations we take a fully refundable ( to terms) of £25 and £50 for Doctor led . Please refer to our for more information.


Your skin consultation lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your and create a recommended plan.


The is completely free, but we do a £25 to secure your consultation. You won’t be charged if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your appointment over 48 hours before your in line with our  policy.​


The cost of your treatment and/or skincare plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but can start from £59, on your clinic.


Your will be with one of our experienced specialist nurses or practitioners with extensive knowledge of the skin. Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or  if you need to see one. Please note these with a doctor or dermatologist are  and do a refundable* deposit – please check the consultation price before booking. We can also refer you to a doctor or nurse for an   if you are about the signs of ageing. These  are free, but we do a refundable* £50 to secure your booking. Please check our  for more information.


We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the if you wish.


Our expert skin practitioners will ask a variety of which are to help them create the best plan of action to tackle your skin concern. For example:


You can wear makeup to your appointment, however, we that you come makeup free so that we can spend the maximum amount of time your skin. We cannot fully your skin with makeup on as we need to assess the texture, and colour which could indicate concerns such as acne or sensitivity.
