What is a mole?

A common mole, or naevi, is a coloured spot on the skin that develops when pigment cells called grow in clusters. common moles may be present at birth, they appear later in and during teenage years – most adults usually have between 10 and 40 on their body. During pregnancy, moles often get darker and they can fade away completely from around the age of 50.

Methods of mole removal

Laser removal

How to best look after your moles

Sun is the main cause of skin cancers, so your skin from the sun is crucial for skin health. Experts advise to avoid direct sun exposure between 11am and 3pm on sunny days, and to wear protective clothing in addition to using regularly.
